When I think of customer service Pepco is not at the top of the list. Two years ago one of their transformers fell in my yard and exploded. Before I could get home they had a crew of people in my back yard in Hazmat suit taking everything and dumping it in four large dumpsters. They scooped up my whole yard with a bobcat, plants, grass, trees and kids toys. They tossed it all away and said do not worry we will replace it and test what was in the transformer and tell you what we spilled. They did not replace it and after months they told me to replace it and they would reimburse me. Than they did not dispute what they took but said that they would pay me 50 cent on the dollar. Oh and they never told me what chemicals they spilled in my yard. That is great customer service.
