Feb. 18: Small Business Lending Fair

The Maryland Chamber’s Business Development Council will hold a Small Business Lending Fair on February 18 to connect small businesses with several community and national banks. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards.

The bank representatives will meet with established small and minority-owned business owners in a “speed dating” format to create introductions and build relationships to help small businesses learn more about accessing capital. There will also be representatives from state and federal agencies. Current participants include:

Small and minority-owned businesses are Maryland’s economic engine. They are the nation’s largest source of private employment and a major source of business innovation. Ensuring the availability of financing to foster small business growth is in the best interest of Maryland’s economy.
