Chamber Announces Small Business of the Year Finalists

The Maryland Chamber is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2010 Small Business of the Year Awards. Join us on June 3, when we showcase these outstanding small businesses and announce the winners.

The 2010 finalists are:

1-10 Employees

11-50 Employees

51-200 Employees

Non Profit Partner in Business

Large Company Partner in Business

  • Pepco, supported by the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce

The Small Business of the Year Awards program was established in 2001 to honor the dedication, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by Maryland’s small businesses. You can view a list of past winners here.

Special thanks to this year’s judges: Cliff Chiet, Publisher of the Gazette of Politics & Business; John Dinkel, President and Publisher of the Baltimore Business Journal; Jeni Mann, Executive Editor of Corridor Inc. and Georgia Patton, Senior Projects Editor of SmartCEO Magazine.

The Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon will be held June 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Westin BWI Airport Hotel. In addition tot he awards program, Dick Cass, President of the Baltimore Ravens, will be the keynote speaker. He will discuss how the challenges of running an NFL franchise are similar to those of running a successful small business. The event will also feature a small business trade show and plenty of time for networking. For more information, click here.
